Thursday 13 Things that if you knew me, You'd know this About Me!
I love the Ocean. My favorite part is through walking through the surf, holding hands with the one I love while watching the Sunset.
I love to cook, simple, but nutrious food, that the family can get together at the table and relax and talk about their day. Now this doesn't happen every day at our house, but I love when it does.
I love my family, my husband and my kids to pieces.
I love pretty flowers. Thanks to Green Thumb Sunday, there is hope for my brown thumb yet!
I prefer cats to dogs. I like dogs too, it's just that Cats purr and can fit in my lap better, when I pet them.
I love to travel. Somebody says, "Road Trip!" I'm all packed and Out the Door before you can say, "Let's Go!"
Both my husband and son are Type 1 Diabetics. I'm very proud of my husband for stepping up and being a fine example of how you take care of yourself for our son. I just pray for a cure everyday. It just kills me to see them go through what they go through on a daily basis. Sure they try to maintain a normal sense of blood sugars, but it's gotten easier with technology. Seriously though it scares me half the time taking care of my son because he is so young, and he can't tell me all the time how he's feeling, if he's low, or if he's high.
I'm closest to my Grandmother.
My father passed away almost 10yrs ago at 52, and it was real hard for me, because he was the second closest person to me. He taught me to listen to people, and you really don't know a person, until you walk a mile in their BOOTS!
I've wanted to open my own restaurant. I like to eat. I love the idea of entertaining, so I'd invite everyone I'd know, just to come in for a good meal and a good time.
I love to do things with the kids, like finger paint, going to the library and feed the ducks,just listening to them. This is a good one. After watching CARS, my son asked me if we could go on Route 66! So I thought we'd cruise that one day!

good for dh setting the standard with the type I diabetes for your son.it is hard and lots of work but good to take care of one's self.

Great list! It's nice to get to know you better. I can understand how it must be difficult to take care of your son since he can't always tell you exactly how he's feeling.

I'm sorry to hear that your dad died at a young age. My sister was killed by a drunk driver when she was 19. It's been 11 years now and I still miss her.

The ocean is the best place to be. If you knew me you'd know that I'm a geek at heart. I love gadgets and gizmos, and could play video games all day long.

You know I live right by the ocean, but I've only actually gone there once since we've arrived here. I think it was the mass people here for touristy season, but, now that it's over, I think I'll go down there when it's nice next.

As for me....If people knew me they would know that I LOVE pens. Especially clicky pens. Someone gives me a pen and I am all OOOH AAAAH! I guess I am way too easy to please.

You can enter all the birth stories you have! I love them all! One lady entered 4 of hers! I have 7, but only a couple are really funny. Some are horrifying, and some are miraculous, I guess, but I love birth stories!

To answer your last question, if anyone knew me, they would know that I LOVE to read and I'm avid reader. They would also know I'm TV addicted and loves to take pictures
From list, I too love my family and nieces. My parents are both diabetics and I love great foods but would love to learn to cook :)
