Thirteen Random Facts and Things About Me
1.) Halloween originated among the Celts in Ireland, Britain and France as the Pagan Celtic harvest festival, Samhain.
2.)Samhain is the word for November in the Irish language. The festival marking the ending of the summer season, and the end of the harvest.
3.)An Irish legend tells of Jack, a lazy but shrewd farmer who used a cross to trick the Devil, then refused to free him unless he agreed to never let Jack into Hell. The Devil agreed. When Jack died, the Devil wouldn't let him into Hell. So, Jack carved out one of his turnips, put a candle inside it, and began endlessly wandering the Earth for a resting place. He was known as "Jack of the Lantern", or Jack-o'-Lantern

Here are 5 random things about my week, because of sleepless nights with being sick, and the kids being sick the rest of the week.
9.) Tried to put Katelyn's shorts on the baby.
10.) Tried to give my husband some chocolate milk, instead of Katelyn.
11.) Thought I was calling my husband, not sure if I called him or his grand-parents, his grandfather's name is Bill too, but I called him Honey, and he started laughing, it wasn't my husband, but his grandfather. He told me that was OK, I could call him Honey anytime.
12.) Called my MIL, thought I was calling my Mother, left a message calling my MIL, HI Mama! That's OK, she's like a second mother to me.
13.) Left for my son's school to the nurses office for lunch. He has lunch at 12. I was an hour early. I get an A for effort!
Today the family is feeling much better, and I'm doing a T13, so my day's looking pretty good! Halloween trivia provided by Wikipedia.

I really enjoyed your Halloween facts! I wonder where the candy part came in as I believe that children don't go trick or treating in Britain.

I'm playing catch up this week. I like the 13 list. The last few are hilarious. I do stuff like that all the time!
