I am wondering how many Moms, Stay at home or that Work Full Time can relate to this. There is no greater and more important of a job, than that of being a Mother. It's very hard work. Kailani had me laughing when she called me "Super Mom"! I didn't feel that way this last Tuesday, and what was ironic was it was Pass The Torch Tuesday, and I wrote this post about how great my kids were during the weekend, they were anything BUT on Tuesday, and I felt like the worse mother in the world. The kids had just gotten over the flu, and then Josh picks up something and starts coughing and stays home from school Tuesday and Weds. Adding to that my MIL and my husband's grandmother come for a visit, and told me I looked like I was ready to Climb some walls! Which didn't HELP me!Honestly, I don't think Calgon could take me away! A week's vacation at a Sandal's Beach Resort sounds more like what I really needed. Then while I visited Catch her post this morning was perfect, because my husband on Tuesday had said and done something that just about pushed me to tears! It was classic, he had this look on his face, " What did I do, or Did I say something wrong!" I'm still not sure if he knew what he was saying. We have our good days, with our share of bad days. I can't wait for the Great day that will balance Tuesday out!
Have you had a day like that!

Almost EVERY day is like that for me. I would love to get away! I don't see that happening any time soon...

Sorry you had a bad day. Sending good thought and hugs. Looking forward to the post that will "balance" this one out. :)

And ya know... it never ends. I have grown daughters and grandkids, yet I still question my mothering techniques and mull over all my mistakes.

At home group, another mother with young marrieds and I were in tears as we discussed this phenomenon.

How do we let go?

There are days when I feel like I have this mommy thing down and I am doing okay and there are days when I feel like I am failing miserably and I am overwhelmed and tired and teary. I completely understand where you are coming from.

I think TC put it great! I think Mom's deserve some kind of salary. Wish they could put that in the budget. ::wishing::

Ooooooooh.... YES I have days like that one. I gave up trying to be the best Mommy possible years ago. Now I'm just trying to improve. ;)

Hey, I just posted a "Thanks for Mommy" contest on my blog. With this last post of yours, you may want to check it out: www.chaotichome.blogspot.com.

I feel your pain!

I will need more than a week at Sandals! Give me a organizer for a month, then ship everyone -- but me -- away for another month. I think I would spend the whole time in bed with books and bon bons!

Thx for the visit!
